Our Nigerian-German consortium consists of experienced companies in energy efficiency & conservation and renewable energies. Our partnership is aimed and active at transferring German technology and knowhow to Nigeria in the fields of energy efficiency and solar energy for power and heat generation. This project is co-financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development under the develoPPP.de programme. The consortium co-operates closely with various educational facilities in Nigeria, ranging from vocational training centres to higher institutions.

About us

Knowhow transfer – Capacity building – Market introduction

Capacity building for energy managers and solar EPCs in the field of energy efficiency and solar PV hybrid solutions for SMEs and social facilities.

This Nigerian-German co-operation project aims at disseminating knowledge on effective ‘plug & play’ power audit tools, their implementation and advanced power efficiency measures. Also, the use of solar PV diesel hybrid power supply solutions shall be introduced and spread among Nigerian energy professionals so they can advise small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and social facilities on verified solutions for saving energy and securing a stable energy supply, beyond the power grid, harvesting solar energy sources.

The implementation of this DeveloPPP Project is done with the following set of instruments:

A demand-side survey (download available soon),

Three documented pilot power audit projects with a hospital and two companies (downloads available soon),

Technical vocational training seminars on easy-made, effective power audits for.

  1. Companies on the offer-side (Energy advisors, EPCs, Developers,…),
  2. Trainers of vocational training institutes and schools
  3. Technician students in vocational schools
  4. Engineering students in universities

All project activities and results are disseminated via website, print media under the DeveloPPP-project brand “Let’s make Solar work!”
